Evaporative Cooling

Students use a temperature sensor to determine the evaporation rates of different compounds and use the Molecular Model Set to help relate differences in rates to molecular composition and intermolecular forces.

Supports NGSS Performance Expectation HS-PS1-3: Plan and conduct an investigation to gather evidence to compare the structure of substances at the bulk scale to infer the strength of electrical forces between particles.

Featured Equipment

PS-4201 Wireless Temperature Sensor with built in OLED display

Wireless Temperature Sensor with Display

The Wireless Temperature Sensor with display is a general-purpose sensor useful in many science labs. With a rugged, water resistant design and rechargeable lithium ion battery, students can get spot reads from the display or auto collect data to a device to study trends.

Molecular Model Kit

Molecular Model Set

An ideal set for introductory chemistry. All the components needed to create simple to complex molecules.

Temperature Sensor

Wireless Temperature Sensor

The Wireless Temperature Sensor is a general-purpose sensor found in many science labs. With a rugged, waterproof design and a long-lasting battery, students can spend more time collecting data and less time dealing with equipment.

Support

Many lab activities can be conducted with our Wireless, PASPORT, or even ScienceWorkshop sensors and equipment. For assistance with substituting compatible instruments, contact PASCO Technical Support. We're here to help.
